Text2Sql for Supply Chain - What Surprised Me Most After Deploying Text2SQL in Real Supply Chain Teams

After sharing how our new Text2SQL chatbot can unlock supply chain data, many reached out asking: What does this look like in the “real world”? In daily supply chain operations, the difference between data access and data usability often comes down to how quickly teams can turn questions into answers and take action in accordance.
Imagine your buyer asking: 🔹 “Which POs are at risk of delay due to insufficient stock levels at suppliers” 🔹 “Show all suppliers with lead times increasing in the last 3 months.” With Text2SQL, those questions don’t wait in the IT queue; they turn directly into data and actionable items. This is more than convenience. It’s a new layer of agility in supply chain collaboration. In my experience, once teams start using natural language access to data, they rarely go back.
